Shopping w/ Mommy
I know it's been a while since my last post. It's been a crazy month and we've been so busy (but in a good way). We've gotten to spend time with family and spend time together as a family and it's been so wonderful. E has an energetic little personality and loves attention. He grows more and more and gets cuter and cuter every day. He does so much now. He sits up, he pulls himself up and stands, he even crawls.
On Saturday, I decided to take E out for a little adventure to Old Navy. They were having a sale and I just couldn't miss it. He was a real trouper and was very well behaved. Well, until we got to the dressing room at least. He did not like being in that little room, not getting to move around in the cart. So he started to cry loudy. I did the first thing that popped into my head... which was clap my hands, jump up and down and say "yay, yay, yay" over and over again. As soon as I did it, E stopped crying and started smiling and laughing. So I tried on another outfit, E started crying again, and I started jumping and clapping again. It was actually pretty funny. I wonder what the people in the other fitting rooms were thinking when they heard me. They must have thought I REALLY liked the clothes. :-)
Then Sunday we went shopping again; just E and me, as poor Marty was stuck home doing homework (so dedicated). We hit up both Whole Foods and Sprouts. He sat in his new shopping cart cover thing for the first time and loved it. He got to look all around and play with his toys. Many of the other shoppers, clerks, etc gave me tons of compliments on the cuteness of my baby. And this time, no clapping or jumping involved. He was just the best little boy.
